Baby blessing!

What a neat day! We blessed the twins last night and we did it from our home. At first I thought it was a different idea but it turned out to be perfect! It was intimate and exactly the way I wanted it. I will always remember it, James did such a great job on the blessing. It was so different to be done with one blessing and then turn to hand him another baby!

We had amazing food we ordered Famous Dave's and everyone brought salads and desserts! So yummy I'm still full! Thanks everyone for coming and sharing in our special day! We are truly blessed to have such wonderful family and friends.

We finally have some grass to play on!

Maybe not the best picture but my cute hubby has been working his tail off to do his own landscaping. He absoutley refused to hire it out but it has been a whole month project and we just laid the grass. Why am I so happy? Every single time Caden played outside the little man just came in so disgustingly dirty now he can have fun without getting so dirty. We just have to start adding the trees and lots more shrubs and flowers and I am so not a gardener! Anyone that has any great ideas for certain trees and shrubs and flowers when you have to water with irrigation I would love! It will be a fun adventure! Thanks babe for all the hard work!

Mommy & Daddy time!

What a nice break to go spend a night out with my hubby thanks to my 11 year old niece Mckell for holding down the fort. Yes I say 11 and it goes to show that your not near as nervous leaving your second baby or babies. I don't think I could have ever done that with Caden. But she is such a great little babysitter! It was so nice to be with James and have that one on one time. We don't take for granted those date nights anymore!

So since the babies were born I made a promise that I would make sure me and Caden had a date night once a week. Something simple like the park or Cabellas but just something where he knew he's still my little bud! It's been alot of fun he makes me laugh so hard he has the funniest personality! He could play baseball and run the bases for hours and never run out of energy!

Birth announcment!

I had to put this up for being able to scrapbook this whole thing one day! This was such a precious day and already they are much larger than this! As of today Jake is 11lbs 2oz and Cole is 10lbs 3oz so they are growing so huge! I can't believe how busy one mommy can stay. I have not been able to take pictures with my camera because I lost the battery and have to buy a new one. But have so so many cute ones stored up in another camera. I'm safe to say things are going smoothly and completely nuts! I always heard the phrase "Double trouble" and that is so true when your trying to feed both babies at the same time and one is pucking it back up on you and the other one is just waiting and patiently screaming for you to feed him! Me and James have a rule that if you answer the phone when one of us calls the other all we have to say is Double Trouble!!! and no explanation needed for hainging up on eachother! I have to say James is such an incredible daddy he amazes me with all he does and being able to keep up with everything! Hat's off to my sexy husband!
